Actually, this store was a Barkers, then a Kings, then a Zayres, then an Ames before becing bought by Artistic Greetings and turned into a manufacturing facility. Less than 2 miles away was a Hills that eventually became another Ames.

I recant my original comment. This store was originally a Zayre. I remember it was the only one around for hours. Memories of the awful black and yellow bumblebee colorscheme and the filthy, overstocked, shelves still haunt me to this day.

This store was originally built as a Hills. I remember school shopping there when they had the traditional Red & White logo (store had a snack bar then!). This store even transitioned to the modernized grey, black, red and white color scheme before they were bought out by Ames.
