This is from 1988 at the University Mall, after Zayre's had re-opened from renovating the whole building to connect onto the new mall section (Zayre's first built in 1970's with a connecting store called Almy's; the mall had not opened yet). Ames eventually bought out the national chain, and transformed the location at the UMALL into Ames.
